Rocky Mount Elementary School fifth grader Jeremiah Perry was awarded Kiwanis Club of Marietta Golden K’s Silver Pen Award in February for his 2020 short story ending. While he technically won the award as a fourth grader, the ceremony was postponed by the pandemic.
