Clint Clackum joined a small family business in 1999 named Chattahoochee Shower Doors. He was an entry-level installation assistant. For 25 years, he worked his way up, learning the ins and outs of the business before buying it from the family. Today, it remains a steadfast brand that this community trusts. From high-end boutique projects to creative custom designs, Clackum leads a team of seasoned glass gurus to deliver unmatched, elevated results.

How has this industry evolved over the course of your career?

Clint Clackum: In 1982, a typical installation day might have been installing a couple of sliding tub shower enclosures and vanity mirrors. Now, with the evolution in residential bath and interior design, a usual installation day doesn’t exist. Ours may include anything from custom frameless shower doors to large panel exterior sliding door systems, custom wine cellars, antique mirrors, interior glass doors and walls and so on. Our ability is up to the client’s imagination and budget.

What are you most proud of since making this business your own?

CC: I am most proud of our ability to grow with an ever-changing industry and customer demand. We are a company of problem solvers. We love to accept your challenge. Bring us an inspiration photo and we will produce. I love taking material that has been designed for one purpose and then reimagining it into the client’s space to accomplish their goal.

In what ways have you set yourself apart from others in the industry

CC: I think what sets us apart from most of our competitors is our ability to service almost any need a client would have in our field. We are able to handle anything from a single secondary shower door installation in your home all the way to hospitality/multi-family projects. Partnering with our clients gives us the ability to grow with them and their needs—however
big they are!
