Park Pride is activating the power of parks by working with communities to help bring their greenspace dreams to life through park design, advocacy, volunteerism and more. With projects based on the community’s needs, you can help by picking up litter, clearing invasive plants, mulching and more. Our Friends group has an ambitious goal of removing invasive plants and restoring native habitat in both parks, and we have been able to make tremendous progress through the efforts of volunteers. Park Pride’s understanding of the importance of harnessing this spirit of volunteerism directed us to Hands On Atlanta, and through this connection, we have developed a consistent and reliable group of volunteers for our monthly (2nd Saturday of each month) workdays.”
